Perhaps it doesn't know how to handle forms that have more than one submit button? If it isn't sending the details of which button was clicked properly then you will get the cache page back rather than the GPX file. I'd guess the OP's Internet Explorer version is doing something weird.

It looks to me like yours isn't submitting anything and is just getting the cache page returned.
